Christine Clare

Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Christine Clare has just graduated from Manchester Metropolitan School of Theatre, and jumped straight into the 24:7 rehearsals. She has also managed to fit in a rehearsed reading for the Not Part of Festival; Meanwhile by Colin Connor. Its Five Star City Life review described Christine as ‘Excellent’. Whilst in training she appeared in The House of Blue Leaves, Harvest, Hard Times and as the Title Role in Mary Stuart. We are also proud to announce that Christine is this year’s winner of the prestigious Alan Bates Award, presented by The Actors Centre to a promising young actor at the outset of their career.
